Our Construction and Remodeling Process

Every promise on this page is written so you can check it while the job runs — not take it on faith.
  1. 1

    Free estimate

Call or send the form, and we come look at the actual project — no phone-guess pricing. We measure, ask what you want, and tell you honestly if any part of it is outside what we do.

  2. 2

    Written scope and start date

Your start date goes in writing before we begin — not a phone estimate you can't hold us to. The scope spells out exactly what's included, so the estimate and the invoice describe the same job.

  3. 3

    Pre-construction meeting

We sit down before we pull out a tool, so nothing gets lost between the estimate and the install. Selections settled, access and parking sorted, schedule walked through day by day.

  4. 4

    Daily work and updates

We work your job on every full workday until it stands finished before we start the next one. Photos and video through the whole job, available whenever you ask, and daily updates for as long as you want them.

  5. 5

    Weather, told to you first

Summer storms are part of building on the Gulf Coast. You hear about weather days and holidays from us — no silent disappearances.

  6. 6

    Final walk-around

A final walk-around with you before we pull out. You see everything, ask everything, and nothing gets called finished until you've walked it.

  7. 7

    Follow-up

Any concern gets answered within a day. The walk-around isn't the last time you hear from us.

Why the schedule works this way: the industry's stalled-job problem comes from contractors running several jobs at once. We don't. Read more about how First Watch operates, what drives cost, common questions in the FAQ, and the mistakes to avoid when hiring any remodeler — including us.

Step one is free

The estimate costs nothing, and everything after it goes in writing.
